A bridge of hope for India's most vulnerable
Asha Setu β meaning "Bridge of Hope" β was founded to stand with the families that feed our nation and the elders who built it.
Our Story
It started with one farmer in Maharashtra
In 2018, our founder met Rambhau Patil β a cotton farmer in Vidarbha who had lost his land to debt. He was 64, sleeping outside a temple, surviving on one meal a day.
We helped Rambhau clear his debt, get a small pension, and reunite with his family. That single act of standing in the gap became Asha Setu Foundation.
Today, we work across 14 Indian states with a network of volunteers, partner NGOs, and verified field coordinators who identify and support families in crisis.
